Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun.

About my Creative Journey

Creativity has always been the undercurrent of my life. I grew up in a family of artists who treated self-expression like oxygen—essential and always within reach. In college, I studied drawing, painting, and photography, learning the technical side of art while quietly collecting experiences that would later shape my own voice.

After graduation, my creative energy shifted toward parenting and teaching - two endlessly creative acts in themselves. But by 2019, I felt compelled to prioritize my personal art practice. Since then, I’ve explored everything from abstract to landscape painting; and this past year has marked a deeper phase of experimentation. I’m developing my own creative language. One that blends symbolic imagery, intuitive process, and an openness to wherever curiosity leads.

Lately, that curiosity has taken me beyond the easel. Integrative yoga and holistic practices have become part of my studio rhythm. They ground me and expand how I connect body, mind, and creativity. The result is an eclectic mix of work that reflects both inner stillness and playful exploration. Recently, I have discovered a passion for painting on reclaimed surfboards, and I am exploring intuitive, mixed media journaling.
